The Translation list
The Translation list contains correspondences between Managerʼs internal names for database fields and the labels that appear at various places in the program. For example, in the Customer Selection list, the term “Synonym” is replaced in the dialogs visible to users by the External code “Placeholder.” Λctiv8 Administrators can change these mappings as needed.
The entries most likely to be subject to change are those of Types 'Terminology' and 'Pkg Discount.' In addition, a number of Translation mappings are in use for various shipping companies and ShipCompliant.
In the Translation list, the Actions menu contains the command Clear Terminology Cache. After you make changes in the translation equivalents, you may need to run this command to refresh the stored table.
