Verifying shipping rates

If youʼve negotiated shipping-rate discounts with UPS, FedEx, or GSO, itʼs a good idea to ensure that those rates are being applied correctly in Manager.

To verify your shipping rates:

  1. In the Customer list, select a single customer.

  2. From the Actions menu, choose Create Transaction : Sales Order from Package.

  3. When the “Batch Sales Order” job finishes, select the record for the new transaction in the Transaction list.

  4. From the View menu, choose Shipping Detail.

  5. Inspect the data in the Total S&H, Actual Shipping, and S&H columns.

  6. If the figures are correct, remember to delete the test transaction you created. If there are errors, contact Λctiv8 support for help.
