Manager tracks and maintains a great deal of data on e-mail youʼve sent. These details can help you gauge the results of mailings, resolve delivery problems, and create specific searches for analysis.
'Complaint': message was an action request to an e-mail service provider
'Delivered': message was delivered; not opened
'Failed': message was not delivered; see Failure Type, below
'Tracking': mail was delivered; Tracking Type shows whether it has been opened or clicked
Subject: The subject line of the e-mail as sent
Addresses: To: and From: addresses as sent
Response: The identifying string from the mail server
Clicked Url: The URL in the message that a recipient has most recently clicked
Failure Type: 'Temporary' and 'Permanent' are standard bounce-message types. 'Suppressed' means that the address was disabled because of a permanent failure.
To reinstate a suppressed address, make a request to Λctiv8 technical support.
Bounce Status: The error subcode from the Failure Reason message
Failure Reason: For 'Failed' e-mails, a brief statement of the reason the message was rejected; fuller detail is in the Diagnostic Text below
For example, “554 5.7.1” indicates that the e-mail server rejected the message because the sender lacks sufficient access privileges.
Remotemta: The name of the remote mail transfer agent that handled the message
User Agent: Details on the e-mail client used to open the message, if known
Diagnostic Text: Full details of the error message returned by the e-mail server.
The fields at the bottom of the dialog display the ID numbers of associated database records. You can open and view these records from the Email Event list, by using commands in the right-click menu.
