The Lookup Text list contains items that are available in Λctiv8 Managerʼs lookup lists. Itʼs used mainly for the entries in the list of Cancellation Reasons that you can choose from when canceling a membership. Senior operators can add new items to the list when needed.
To open the Lookup Text list, choose Setup : Lookup Text from the Network menu. Select and open any record in the list to display the Lookup Text – Data Entry dialog.
On the General tab:
Type is the internal system identifier for the entry, based on the database table and field that it applies to.
The first three letters of the Type name are usually the internal system designator for the table, which also appears in the recordʼs ID field: for example, Customer record IDs begin with “CSR.”
Label and Description contain the values that appear in the corresponding columns in the Lookup Text list.
Note: Youʼll need to edit and delete records in the Lookup Text list when combining duplicate cancellation reasons.
