Most server jobs run automatically, either on a specified schedule or when you select a command from the Actions menu, and thereʼs normally no need for you to interact with them. Occasionally, however, you may find it useful to rerun a job. For example, after you create a batch of sales orders for a club run, the Job Log might report errors in the package. Instead of re-creating the transactions from scratch, you can delete them, fix the errors in the package, and restart the job.

There may also be times when you wish to modify a scheduled job to run at a more convenient time.

The scheduling settings are found on the Schedule tab of the Job Queue – Data Entry dialog.

To restart a server job:

  1. Search the Job Queue for the job you want to rerun and right-click it.

  2. From the right-click menu, choose Status : Run Now.

In the Job Queue, the jobʼs Status changes to 'Run Now'.
