Awarding an incentive

Once the incentive system is correctly set up, Manager awards incentives to employees automatically, by running the scheduled Batch Sales Incentives job. You can change the schedule for this job by opening its record in the Job Queue. For testing purposes, you can award sales incentives and send receipts manually.

To reschedule the incentive job:

  1. In the Job Queue list, search for the job Batch Sales Incentives and open it in the Job Queue – Data Entry dialog.

  2. On the Schedule tab, select the Schedule option.

  3. Set the Recurrence options as you wish.

  4. Click Save.

To send sales incentive receipts:

  1. In the Transaction list, select a search for 'Employee incentives' from the Quick Search list.

  2. From the View menu, choose Incentive or Incentive Detail.

  3. In the list, select the transactions for the employees to receive the award.

  4. From the Actions menu, choose Sales Incentive : Email. Other choices on the submenu let you print reports and certificates.
