Customer Selection data entry

Customer Selection icon When you create a customer selection, you select an item from inventory to add to the customerʼs selection profile. This selection is then available when creating a sales order for that customer. You can view the details of the selection at any time in the Customer Selection – Data Entry dialog. If necessary, you can change some of the details, such as the quantity, price, or discount rate.

Itʼs important to remember that in the Customer Selection – Data Entry dialog, youʼre working not with the original inventory item record, but a copy. Although itʼs seldom necessary to change anything other than the quantity, changes you make here do not affect the original inventory item.
