When you ship via UPS, FedEx, GSO, or a fulfillment house, Managerʼs Get Tracking job collects tracking numbers for the packages. The nightly Scheduled Tracking job checks their status. When exceptions occur, Manager sends you an e-mail notice with an attached report.
To follow up on tracking exceptions:
In the Transaction list, select a Quick Search for 'Sales … shipped' for the appropriate date range.
From the View menu, choose Shipping Date or Shipping Tracking.
In the Transaction list, the Shipping Date and Shipping Tracking views provide the information needed for identifying and solving shipping problems, including all the text from the shippersʼ reports:
Shipping Date: Shipper name and service, shipping status, label date and status, tracking number, error description
Shipping Tracking: shipping status, tracking number, exception text from shipper
To see the tracking code and other details returned by the shipping company, locate the shipment in the Track Package list.
